We’re excited to share a webinar replay of Daughters of Light: Nurturing Godly Bonds, the inspiring session held last Saturday, May 9. If you missed the live gathering—or would love to revisit the teaching and reflection—this replay offers a meaningful opportunity to engage again with the message and deepen the connections explored during the session.
About the speakers:
Karen Louis is a retired church minister, parent educator, author, strength coach, and grandmother. She is a Texas native who spent 36 years living overseas before returning home to care for her parents. After being baptized at 17, she pursued theological studies in Rome and joined an Asian mission team in the UK. Alongside her husband, John Louis, she helped plant churches in Singapore and across Southeast Asia. For the past 15 years, Karen has focused on strengthening families through workshops and books, drawing on her Master’s in Counselling, Solution‑Focused practice, and Clifton Strengths. Retired after 35 years in full‑time ministry, she now enjoys time with friends and family worldwide, Bible journaling, British mystery shows, travel, long walks, and cherishing her two adult children, their spouses, and four grandchildren.
Sonia Louis Masilamani is a Women's Church Leader of Thames Valley, UK, and a Schema Therapist. She grew up in Singapore as a third‑culture kid, shaped by her American mother, Malaysian father, and a vibrant church community that fostered a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and life stories. After studying English Language and Literature, she developed a lasting love for Scripture and its power to bring transformation, which led her into pastoral ministry with young adults. Seeking to support people more holistically, Sonia earned a Master’s in Counselling from Monash University and later specialized in schema therapy, working with individuals impacted by adverse childhood experiences. After seven years of ministry in Jakarta, Sonia and her husband, TJ, relocated to the UK with their two children, where they now lead Thames Valley Church. She enjoys time in nature, playing tennis, listening to music, and relaxing with a good glass of Italian wine.
